CAFÉ PISTOU
Café Pistou has brought a touch of southern France to Exmouth Market since opening in autumn 2014. Now the Provençal brasserie is hoping to lure early risers with its new breakfast menu. Francophile breakfasters can grab a fresh croissant, linger over ratatouille with fried egg and Parmesan, or tuck into crêpes with a choice of fillings including lemon and sugar, charcoal roast bananas or pineapple and mango with passion fruit syrup. Breakfast is served from 8.30am – 11.30am Monday to Friday.

BIBIGO
Attention kimchi addicts: You can now get your fermented veg fi x in Clerkenwell. The owners of Bibigo, the popular Korean restaurant in Soho, have bought the former Naamya site on St John Street. The new restaurant opens this January and also features a lounge bar serving soju (a popular Korean spirit) cocktails. Expect dishes like kimchi rice with chicken and fried egg or chilli barbecued pork and squid served piping hot from the restaurant's open grill barbecue area.

It's over 10 years since The Zetter hotel opened its doors on St John's Square (doesn't time fly etc.).
